Product Care

The GAIA LÉONproducts are highly organic and require care, just like your skin does. To maintain a clean appearance, use a mild soap solution (non alcoholic) and remove it completely using white cotton cloth dampened in water.

You should not wash the bags with too much water. And please never use a hair-dryer to dry the bags; heat can damage the material.

Do not clean with solvents such as alcohol, acetone, paint thinner, bleach, oils, vinegar, waxes, silicones, armor all, stove (continental soda) or detergent cleaners, as these cause permanent damage in the material.

Stains from sauces should be cleaned immediately to prevent staining.

Prevent exposure to suntan oils. In case this happens, clean it as soon as possible with a water based soap (f.e. shampoo)

Storage

Please take care when unpacking your Gaia Léon product. Open the packaging carefully to avoid damaging the bag. 

Please store your products with care. It is recommended to store them in their own protective dust bag. 

Please store your Gaia Léon product in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight or humidity.

Please avoid hanging your bag by its straps for too long when heavily loaded. This might put pressure on its strap connectors and can wear out its seams prematurely.

Please avoid folding and pressing the bags at all costs.

The vegan material is intended to replace real calf-skin leather. It is very soft, please treat it with the same care as real leather.
